The Red Cross/Red Crescent is working to coordinate emergency relief and recovery efforts and get help to people in affected areas resulting from the August 4 explosion as quickly as possible. Money raised will enable the Red Cross/Red Crescent to prepare for, respond to and help individuals in Lebanon affected by humanitarian needs now and as the situation evolves. Current activities are mobile health outreach, support to health facilities, and strengthening of health systems.
On August 4, 2020 a 4.5 Richter scale factory explosion similar to an earthquake crushed an entire city center of Beirut, Lebanon. Help us send any help to the thousands of families who need it most.
